Hi, I’m Robert. I am taking a hiatus from quantum computing R&D, and I am working at a stealth startup. For fun, I write mathematical code and play piano.

Software Projects

I work on a variety of projects, professionally and for pleasure. Most projects I work on these days are written in Common Lisp or Coalton. A few of my favorites:

• Coalton, a statically typed functional programming language inside of Common Lisp.

• QUILC, an optimizing compiler for a quantum programming language called Quil.

• QVM, a fast and flexible quantum computer simulator.

• Hypergeometrica, a library and application for doing arithmetic with extremely huge numbers (hopefully to one day calculate $\pi$ to a zillion digits).

• CL-PERMUTATION, a library to work with permutation groups and combinatorial puzzles.
